Each part of the training scale must be present:

Rhythm and Relaxation
Looseness and Suppleness
Contact
Impulsion
Straightness
Collection
Letting the Aids through

If one level is missing, you must go back and develop, then
go forward up the scale to confirm.

Rhythm must remain the same for each movement.
Every day will not be a perfect day!!!!!
The higher the collection, the lighter the connection.
Supple to the outside.
Secret to flexion is the moment the horse gives the flexion, you
must give your soft rein.
Return to basics.
Lots and lots of half halts… over and over.
Piaffe and Passage… relax seat back and legs, let him do it by
himself, PET him, ask, then relax aids.
Canter change of hand, keep the canter really forward, really
forward, then collect into changes…
