CC at ThinLine Dressage with Altitude International CDI 3*

We went to the ‘ThinLine Dressage with Altitude International event at Orange, NSW. We had several very high level judges from Germany, UK and NZ as well as Aus. It’s a sweet prestigious boutique event, we need a few more of these along the east coast of our country. Many of the riders and horses are currently on the AUS National Squad, and many are on State Squads. The quality of the horses competing was very high. We competed in the Prix St Georges, the Advanced and the Freestyle.

We were very pleased our young mare CC, she finished in the top 6 placings. You could even say that almost each class had a leader of the field, and then practically a photo finish for the placings. It was tight.

So then we packed up and left at 6am on Sunday morning, in the dark , rain and high wind to drive the 14 hour trip home. You could say we brought them some luck with the rain, as it had not rained since October last year. )))

Bradgate Park was the event venue, a privately owned beautiful place that has many horses and dogs, birds, cats, a goat, AND they love all these animals soo much. It was a pleasure and inspiring.
